typed beside it "Grandfather to Louis Theodore Cook on mother's side."
Since Lou's mother "Jennie" was born 1847, this cannot be Jennie's
father or Lou's grandfather. It could be Jennie's grandfather and
therefore Lou's greatgrandfather. I presume this to be the case - rwc75.
